Q: Why Lip Glosses?
A: Because I've been doing makeup application here at Ego and at the end of the service I finish off with the lips— I wanted to give my clients something to go home with & remember me & my services by.. AND WHO DOESN’TLOVE A LUSCIOUS LIP!
Q: What makes your Glosses different then others?
A: Our glosses are not sticky, not thick with a weird film and its a more of a creamy formula!
Q: What inspired you behind the packaging of your Glosses?
A: I love gold and it matches with my other beauty products, the square reminded me of KKW and the frosted gloss reminded me of my beautiful salon.
Q: Why the color palette?
A: I think that they’re all light, neutral, and I like the look of a darker lip liner & a lighter shade in the lip. For a 90’s sultry vibe.
Q: How else can I use these Glosses?
A: You can use these Glosses as a liquid eyeshadow & add pigment to it for a bold look. You can also use it as a highlighter for a dewy look.
Q: Which shade is your favorite?
A: My favorite shade is clear because I wear it every day and is very universal. For clients, I love to use BABY or EXPOSED for a more luxurious glam.
Q: What is the formula like?
A: They are made out of mostly gel formula that has glitter flex which is in most lip glosses. It has more of a cream base— I still recommend using your favorite lip serum// moisturizer before application.

Designed & created to make all of your hair dreams come true! We believe that not one method fits all and we specialize in educating ourselves and others in various types of hair integration as we have 4 different methods here at Ego Salon and Spa as well as education behind it!
We decided to do a poll on our social media platforms of some questions from our lovely following about hair extensions and the steps before, during as well as after…which are all very important in the process of hair extensions. Let’s see what you guys had in mind…
Let’s start off with some of the most asked questions…
How do I book for hair extensions?
To book hair extensions at Ego Salon & Spa with one of our very talented stylist we require a 30 minute consultation in which you and the stylist will go over your desired look, color match you (to what you have already, or if you need additional color), type of extension that would be best fitting, how many you would need for the desired look, and of course, how much for the desired look. We do not book any hair extension appointment with out a 50% deposit to go towards the appointment. This process is actually the most important process in booking & receiving the service.

What kind of lengths/ waves do you offer?
As you can see we have a plethora of colors & tones speciality made to look like your own hair! All of our hair extensions (no matter the method/ type) is made out of real human hair which means you are able to style it as you normally would curls, blow dry, crimped, updo, etc. Which types of lengths do you offer? We offer 16 inches, 20 inches, 22 inches, 24 inches & 30 inches! All extensions are super customizable when it comes to length.
Something you might not know…
Because we specialize in hair restoration// which can be anyone who struggles with post-chemo treatments, hair loss, alopecia, trichotillamania, etc. we can actually cut one full bond of hair extensions as small as 1/4 of it! That creates the tiniest/ most natural extension to add fullness back into the hair… We can also do 1/2 bonds & 1/3 considered as micro extensions…check out the picture below for reference…

How long does the process take?
The process of hair extension application can take up to 4 hours +… this is why the consultation is so important in the process so we can educate our clients on every bit of the process because it very precise, strenuous & tedious.
Can I reuse the hair extensions?
This question has a yes and no answer as it depends on the type of method you receive. If you get Fusion Keratin Bond extensions they are not reusable. They grow out naturally for about 4-6 months of the year. Most people get a fresh set of new hair extensions in that time gap- regardless of the method. If you get I-Tip Extensions they can be reused as they get adjusted every 6-8 weeks // same goes for Tape-Ins. Clip-Ins can be rented or purchased here at Ego Salon & Spa which are good for about 3 years!

How do I take my extensions out?
We felt this question was so important that we decided to create a YouTube video for it! Everyone always asks us…how do I take these out? Is it damaging? Do I need to do anything to prep before? Quick Tips Before & After Your Wax
Exfoliate the day before your appointment.
Don’t apply body lotion on the day of your appointment.
Make sure hair is the length of a rice grain- nothing more, nothing less.
Use a deodorant without antiperspirant if you will be getting an underarm wax. The hair comes off easier.
If you are really worried about pain, take one Advil an hour before your appointment.
Avoid any hot treatments for 24 hours post-waxing (bath, sauna, steamer, tanning bed).
Make sure to be 100% cleansed before your appointment
Exfoliate at least once a week after your wax

Who is eligible for a Dermaplaning session and who is not?

How often is Dermaplaning performed?
Dermaplaning every 3-4 weeks, there service has the best outcome when your skin complete its normal rejuvenation cycle which is normally anywhere between 3-4 weeks depending on how fast your hair grows.
What to expect after a Dermaplaning session?
Sometimes after Dermaplaning, the skin will peel slightly because there was not enough time in between treatments- that is why it is important to let the hair growth cycle be completed which is normally again, every 3-4 weeks.
